The location was very convenient for the Albuquerque Convention center. The breakfast was great.
It is a bit dated and looks a bit worse for wear but those are just aesthetic features.
I liked the fact that they provided a good continental breakfast and they even had cookies in the lobby and hot chocolate and juices available anytime in the kitchen
The hotel provides a shuttle service which was very convenient, as well as the complimentary internet and breakfast. The price was just right.
While the room had a new comfortable bed and flat screen TV and an updated sink, the furniture was old and a desk was missing in our room. The hotel should invest in updating their furniture.
Free wi-fi in the lobby and I could still get it poolside, downtown location on main drag, walkable to many restaurants, great pool, unhurried and relaxed nice people...felt like my kids and I could come and go easily
My room was clean, spacious, well equipped (bathtub, washbasin, refrigerator, microwave, air conditioner, coffeemaker) and comfortable. The door and the window opens on a corridor like in motels (but this building has 6 floors). Location is very good: business district - 4 blocks, Old Town - 1 mile (15-20 min walk), Zoo on the banks of Rio Grande - 10-minute walk. Continental breakfast: pastries, you-make-it pancakes, cereals, yogurt, canned mixed fruits, toast, butter, peanut butter, cream cheese, juices, coffee/tee. Chocolate chip cookies are offered during the day. Swimming pool is hardly used. Fenced parking lot. Personnel was very helpful. The free shuttle ride to the airport is less than 15 minutes (outside of rush hours). Shuttle is offered to/from the Old Town. This is not a luxury hotel but at $66/night it was much better concerning value for money than those close to the airport in one of which I stayed a week earlier.
Close to restaurant and view of the mountains.
Requesting a pool view and not getting it, then finding out it was available and should have been able to get it but we had already checked in and unpacked when we told by the staff it was available. We gave our confirmation with the request to them and was told they would have the manager contact us... That never happened. Homeless sleeping in the park across the street and kids driving the strip.
The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us by giving us a 2:00pm check out time, instead of the usual 11:00am. The hotel was located downtown, which made it a great place to explore the city. The hotel also ran a free shuttle that picked us up from the train depot, as well as retured us there, and it also took us to Old Town. A very friendly and nice staff.
The outside of our room upon exiting the elevator seemed a little shabby, and the wooden former housing of the television console was somewhat tacky. But these were very minor complaints.
I loved the tempurpedic bed and the directv. I also liked the relative quietness around the hotel.
I sort of wish that there was more of an indication that rooms had doors which led to the outside - sort of like a motel. No wireless, but desk had short ethernet cables.
I read reviews where people have said that because of it's location that it was noisy (car traffic), but I did not experience this, even on a Saturday night with everyone cruising the strip! It's a very nice hotel with temperpedic beds and 40' HDTVs with Directv service. Staff was very polite and service oriented. For those of you wanting a place where you can walk to venues - this is the place. Within 5 blocks, you have your choice of Susshi, Turkish, Greek, American, Brazilian, Thai, PIzza, etc! And there is a theatre 3 blocks away and a movie theatre 6 blocks away!
My daughter loved the fresh cookies. They locked the doors at dark.
Some of the breakfast food was not fresh. Some pastries were a bit stale. You could here people yelling at the park and on the weekends people at the bar.
Convenient to city services & resturants
The staff was incredibly nice and friendly. The other guests seemed very pleasant. The hotel was well-situated and within walking distance of downtown. The pool was fantastic. Enormous, clean, and wonderful.
It wasn't the most updated or cleanest room in the world, but it was fine. And a good value for the money.
Was within walking distance of Old Town, restaurants, next to park. Enjoyed growers market in park. Liked being downtown--getting to know the city more. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Pool was good in the heat.
Very hot in room because it was over 100 outside and the a/c was not turned on until we got in the room. Was too hot all the first night.
Close to the city center, quiet room, slept well, comfy bed and reasonably clean. Good air conditioning. Decent breakfast albeit mostly processsed.
Very dark room and carpet not clean, the soles of my white socks quickly got very dirty . Very shabby cheap furniture. Small bathroom. Poor lighting.
The location was convenient, the hotel shuttle very useful and the staff friendly and helpful. We liked the motel style and found it very quiet
